In the Krimpenerwaard it’s very quiet and a nice place to settle down, but of course there’s also a lot to do in this area.!
Our farm is situated close by many very nice wallking and cycling tracks. We are about 2 kilometres (less than 1 mile) away from the very beautiful ‘silver’ city Schoonhoven. about 10 kilometers from ‘the City of Light’ Gouda and 25 kilometers from Rotterdam.
To visit in the neighbourhood of Bed & Breakfast ‘De Hooizolder’:

- you can rent bicycles with us
- you can rent canoes in the neighbourhood

- when the gallons are frozen, you can skate through the wonderfull polder landscape everywhere
- there are a lot of restaurants in the area
- At our neighbours; clogs golf, old ferrysailing handbow shooting, all to book with a group (levensvreugd.nl)
- a Cheese farm (hoogerwaard.info)
- For picnics with filled cargo bikes from 2 to 25 people, ‘Picknickbakfiets’
